2024 has been an eventful year. While global growth slowed the US achieved a soft landing, global US dollar liquidity remained plentiful and the corporate profit cycle in major economies in upswing. Trading Post didn’t do too shabbily with its forecasts and investment recommendations either. Of the 43 calls made, on global markets and eleven countries/regions, 69.8% were accurate. The best hits were – accurately predicting the US soft landing , Trump’s re-election, a strong dollar, a broad-based US led global stock market rally, sub-par growth in Europe and recommending going overweight Bitcoin.
