Economically Europe entered the current energy crisis from weaker position compared to its peers and ahead Trump’s 2025 global trade tariff war.  Manufacturing is in downturn and output of consumer goods industries are collapsing. European households had started to watch spending even before the Iran war. Rising concerns about the future and slowing wage growth point to further downside.
